Marking period 1

 The ring: the ring is my most recent project this ties in to my focus of fantasy because i find a lot of rings in fantasy this was probably made popular from the lord of the rings serious i fist want to practice making sizes of them then ill stretch a plane to allow to engrave on them. i learned from my first print of this project that i need to watch seizing more because even though i entered the right amount i think it may have been in centimeters on accident. this will hopefully be a success next marking period.

The Nordic alphabet: This project was done for convince i like Nordic runes and symbols a lot so when creating they tend too pop into my head a lot so i thought if i made them then when i wanted to engrave them i could just import and knife project onto objects i wanted them on. this so far has been a success and I've learned a lot about knife projecting.
The chain: I wanted to experiment with 3D printing a lot this year i want to make somethings that move a little more free other then a stationary object so i decided to start with a chain when i went to print it first problem was trying to get supports to work and after it finished printing i found it was to brittle and it stuck together then fell to shambles so ill have to come back to it.
The Fang: this another near completion project i will be test printing it soon after i run it through simplifier 3D i originally made a plane fang but found it boring and deiced to engrave on it in order to add some design and originality to it I'm hoping the test goes well as when its done ill focus again on the chain and try to prefect it in order to combine them in to an awesome 3D printed neckless.

The Completed so Far

========================================================================
The Wand: YOUR A WIZARD HARRY! I made a wand first project loved it but it is completed-ish. I'm going to try and print a bigger one on the other 3D printer but that's about it and many I'll come back to it mess around redesign it and such but I'm proud of it I like it a lot. There weren't many draw backs with this project other then trying to draw some creative influence and to be honest Harry Potter was NOT the influence for it i got bored and thought what do wizards use WANDS so that's really the basic inspiration for this project.

2 d20's: " and so the die have been cast" yes I made that quote no I won't take it back the dice were a fun project to make even though there just spin down 20 sided die I'm going to make real 20 sided die as well that can actually be used in D&D as well as any other games requiring these type of dice I was thinking of making a whole set of dice for fun this may again be improved but for now is done. The inspirations for this project comes from my love for a trading card game called Magic the Gathering  I first got into this game at a club in middle school called conquers club this was a card and board game club I joined and saw people playing it I asked about it and eventually learned the rules and came to have fallen in love with it the unique art on each card , the strategy , and it was fun all around so that was the inspiration for this project.🎲🎲

For future reference

========================================================================
The things i learned this marking period is alway double check your information like the bracelet was supposed to be a ring but i messed up with sizing considerably. Another thing i learned from this marking period is that you can print in multi-color witch i will definitely be doing for future projects possibly for my up coming print of rings that would be one of very size. One thing i need to learn is how to sand smaller objects and other things considering i will be working with much smaller objects this year then in years pass. Finally looking forward i'm thinking of trying out more character models to make statues and figures especially since i can use them for D&D this may also get more customers at the end of the year art show hopefully and i want a model of a wizard fighting something (lol). Thats my plane for the year focus on the things in my head oh and maybe ill 3D print a town or city for fun with a blacksmith or something.
