Monday:printed staff Tuesday printed another staff less successful Wednesday:tried fixing staff more Thursday taught Kayla how to use printer Friday worked on staff more might have gotten it to work RA Ra is the Egyptian god of the sun and life the Egyptians believed that man was made from Ra's sweat and tears Ra was worship majorly during the 5th dynasty and was deemed a major god Ra is associated with the hawk and the eagle and is depicted as having a hawk head Ra has know to during the 25th dynasty with the god Horus forming Ra-Horakhty or Ra,who is Horus of the two horizons this form of Ra and Horus is supposed to be powerful enough to control the sky earth and underworld. Ra had many cults under him the most popular is the cattle of Ra witch brought about the belief of the celestial cow. i will be making a charm out of the Ra symbol for life.

Tuseday: worked on a raijin drum got the base done WEnsday Work on design of the symbol for the drum Thursday finished the my design using bezea curves put it together Friday started getting my model ready to print Nut Nut is the Egyptian goddess of night  She is said to have birthed the universe  and almost all of the gods creating the stars in  the sky she is the most powerful goddess in the lore she is one of the first and oldest goddess in the religion. i will take arts symbol and make it into a 3d print then combine it with a sculpter.

worklog Monday thru wensday: worked on typology tried shortcuts didn't work had to do it the hard way did this for 3 days Thursday worked on armatures failed at that deleted them read up on how to properly do them Friday worked on armatures have the structure layed out just need to assign vertex groups Armatures   Armatures are very useful armatures are used for rigging models for animations as well as well as posing models for images and prints most professional animators use armature i will being using them to help pose my raijin model how i want him to be with his arms folded and sitting cross legged by learning armatures no this will help me improve my later models for quicker posing time maybe even come back and pose some models differently for a reprint in a different form.   i learn this because I'm torn between to poses i want to do on my rajin model it'd be quicker to have his arms folded and his  legs crossed but it'd be nicer for

Egyptian symbols  The Egyptians used hieroglyphs as a way of writing and we still find them today preserved trough thousand of years later in pyramids these hieroglyphs had different meanings i will be taking these hieroglyphs with there meaning and put it on a sculpture in the shape of a hieroglyph of Isis the goddess of love this will probably end up being a gift but this will go along with the staff of ptah i will be making ptah is the god of creativity and art in Egypt i will use many symbols on this including the one for fire(to the left) the eye of Horus (below) witch represents knowledge and wisdom the sign for water the sign for love and death. End of the marking period review After seeing my peers and looking through there work i see I'm not very far behind but I'm not were i would like to be i would have like to have 3D printed out my hand by now and have my raijin model ready to print i also feel that the film groups are working very hard i feel i could have focused more but Monday i will be 3D printing my hand i also feel my models are not as good as they could be i feel i should put a little more effort in to them for compared to Andrews they are lower quality models and i could stand to go over some basics in order to clean up my models a little more so through this year another goal I'm going to set is to clean up my models and work a little faster. work log Monday through Thursday : marking period post friday: finally set up hand settings ready to print 

Temple of Black Light eleven angels of hell the temple of black light is a satanic cult  that believes in the eleven angels of hell (the right) and follows Satan and Lucifer and will preform many satanic necromancy rituals also they believe in the demon Lilith .                    Lucifer Satan  the temple of black light has been around for a very long time and there book and rituals can actually be found online today they use technology to spread there practice of satanism. in conclusion the temple of black light is a prime example of how technology can destroy society by being able to spread practice with human sacrifice and also rape as part of these religions  the temple of black light is a candidate for my next model but  most likely will not make it.    ritual Lilith luring a man

Intention Definition & Exploration of Ideas :    I began to focus on religions more then technology by finding religions to research in different parts of the world I would take a major figure god or object with in the religion and model it crossed with some thing either low poly or computerized integrating ideas of technology into regions is challenging yet easy and depends on the path you take to your finished project but for my first project (to the left and below this paragraph) I took a hand of god in a low poly then to show art and technology i will combine it with the sculpture( shown at the very bottom of post) i will try to make a sculpture for every print I make .   Planning:           I started with a hand of god and decided to make it low poly by not rounding out the hand and giving it 4 fingers and no thumb I also decided to study Shintoism next after looking through many books of lure and a lot of list of gods I decided on the god Raijin the god of thunder lightn

Kirigami Kirigami is the art of cutting and folding paper not to be confused with origami witch is just folding paper. kirigami like origami started in japan in rituals sacrificial and not then appeared in Asia and north America again in  the late 1900's as a popular art form many people participated in this and there are some famous kirigami works. i shall use kirigami to make a back round for my print of raijin whom i discussed in another blog post i will be making this kirigami sculptor look like a rain storm using kirigami i will give more meaning to my print and also help interpret the meaning kirigami is a very unique style of using paper and will help me extensively in my project. worklog monday: day off Tuseday : finshed drum project worked on character model nearing completion Wensday: fixed hand in simplyfier 3d acording to misster bomboys videos thursday: spent all day printtin g and failed tried around 5 times friday: reashered next topic found

Some famous character models are Woody from toy story, Shrek from Shrek, and  mike wazawski from monsters inc. I will be using character modeling in my art to make rough figures of different gods and robots too. this week as well as next i am working on a character model of Raijin. Raijin Raijin is the Shinto god of the 8 thunders rain and lightning Raijin is very important it is believed that crops struck by lightning will hold a bountiful harvest.(below Raijin-left is fighting Fuijin-right) Raijin and his brother are well know to fight each other to see who is the true ruler of the sky Raijin is always with his ring of 8 drums to make thunder and hammers to bang the drums Raijin is found in many art works and depicted slightly different in some he is depicted with a pot belly some as very muscular but always with his drums and hammers also usually riding a cloud and of course in a demonic body with horns and claws but the skin tone takes many colors as well Raijin can be found to have 3 fingers on his hands and feet to represent past present and future.(To the right is Raijin resting on a cloud watching humans.)
